Pricing
Yandex.Translate API pricing is based on the number of characters in the Requests:

Reduced rate shall be applied for calculation of the fee for the usage of Yandex.Translate API from the moment of achievement of the number of characters in the Requests which is according to the table is the cause for reduction of the rate. From the first day of each month the calculation of the fee begins from the maximum rate.
Total cost calculation examples
For example, you translated 55 million characters in a given month. The reduced rate will be applied in two stages as follows:
- for the first 50 million characters, you will pay the current rate of $15 per million
- for the remaining 5 million characters, which fall under the next rate group, you will pay the reduced rate of $12 per million
Therefore, the total cost for using the service over the course of a month is:
50 * $15 + 5 * $12 = $810.
If the translator is used more frequently, in the range of 520 million characters, for example, then the cost will be calculated as follows:
- for the first 500 million characters, the rate will be $8 per million
- for the remaining 20 million characters, you will pay the reduced rate of $6 per million
The total cost for using the service over a month will thus be:
500 * $8 + 20 * $6 = $4120.
Use of the Yandex.Translate API on a paid basis is conducted in accordance with the conditions of the License Agreement.
