Pricing
The Licensee shall make a down payment of remuneration for the right to use the program “Yandex.Translate” API (the Program) during a calendar month (the Reporting period). Payments shall be effected in US Dollars.
The minimal amount of payment is 15 US Dollars.
Program pricing is based on the number of characters in the Requests during a Reporting period:

Rounding shall be done in accordance with the mathematical rule of rounding to two decimal places (to the nearest cent).
Reduced rate shall be applied for calculation of the fee for the usage of Program from the moment of achievement of the number of characters in the Requests that is the cause for reduction of the rate according to the table. From the first day of each Reporting period the calculation of the fee begins from the maximum rate.
Total cost calculation examples
For example, you translated 55 million characters in a given Reporting period. The reduced rate will be applied in two stages as follows:
- for the first 50 million characters, you will pay the current rate of $15 per million
- for the remaining 5 million characters, which fall under the next rate group, you will pay the reduced rate of $12 per million
Therefore, the total cost for using the service over the course of a Reporting period is:
50 * $15 + 5 * $12 = $810.
If the Program is used more frequently, in the range of 527 319 122 characters, for example, then the cost will be calculated as follows:
- for the first 500 million characters, the rate will be $8 per million characters
- for the remaining 27 319 122 characters, you will pay the reduced rate of $6 per million characters
The total cost for using the service over a Reporting period will thus be:
500 * $8 + 27.319122 * $6 = $4163.91.
